Elke Latza has studied food chemistry at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (University of Munich). She gained practical experience in the fields of analysis and evaluation of food, cosmetics and consumer goods during a practical training period of 12 months at the national chemical investigation office in Südbayern. She successfully completed this year with the 2. Staatsexamen (2nd state examination). Her doctoral studies in the area of biotechnological preparation of flavour substances at the institute of food chemistry of the University of Hannover have been realized in cooperation with the Degussa-Hüls AG. Since 1999 Elke Latza works in the field of industrial property rights. In the year 2006 Latza joined the office Habermann IP as a partner. She advises clients in all fields of industrial property rights. She is married and has three children.
